Choosing a Bank
When choosing a bank in the US, there are several things to consider:
- Bank Locations and ATM services (those listed below are accessible to Hopkins)
- International Services (for wiring money)
- Banking fees (check cashing, ATM fees, other services)
- Customer services
Bank of America is located across the street from the Johns Hopkins Hospital at 1800 East Monument Street. They have branches throughout the city and the United States. For Hopkins employees only they offer a no fee checking account if you use direct deposit (meaning your paycheck is automatically deposited into this bank account). They will cash payroll checks with proper identification.
